Are you looking to grow your career in production testing at one of the world’s leading semiconductor companies? At Texas Instruments, a Production Test engineer ensures manufactured components and assembled products meet company standards and objectives.
You’ll develop and implement testing and evaluation methods and create test plans based on production specifications and requirements. You’ll use your talent to perform testing and compiling and analyzing data for review and identification of manufacturing and production issues.
Responsibilities include:
• Utilize analog circuit analysis and Automated Test Equipment debug knowledge to troubleshoot test, quality, and device performance issues
• Develop test processes, fixtures and software for automated test equipment for optimized production use
• Establish and influence next-generation test solutions that help achieve the lowest obtainable costs on future products
• Facilitate and support new multi-factory manufacturing test and assembly flows
• Analyze test solution robustness through correlated performance and sameness verification techniques
• Perform yield analysis and work with fabs for yield improvements where applicable
Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical & computer engineering, mathematics, physics or a related field of study
• Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher

Preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of USP and Testware, Eagle 364/500, LTX Fusion, Catalyst, Agilent 407x, Ultraflex
• Knowledge of ATE
• Probe card hardware and circuit design knowledge
• Software development knowledge
• Exposure to ATE plaforms including:ETS364, ETS500, LTX Fusion HFI, LTX Fusion HT, Teradyne Catalyst, Teradyne UltraFlex, Agilent 4062 and 4071
• Knowledge of Mbayse analysis for both TP and MP
• Knowledge of EDGE probe release system and probe build documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
